What is meeteora.com?
Meetora.com is a location based service that helps you to stay in touch with your friends when you all are travelling. It enables you to share your and their locations so you can see everybody in one joint map.
How does it work
Prelude
Imagine you and your friends want to go somewhere together (for now let's assume a cool festival). And let's be honest: There's nothing like a ride together to a great event somewhere.
But you all live in different locations. This means you will have to travel independently from each other. Wouldn't it be cool to know where all the others are while on the move? Wouldn't that at least generate the feeling of a joint travel?
And this is where meetora comes into play.
The Beginning
You go to meeteora.com and start a new meteora map. This will be your virtual convoy, your coach, your online car that you can use to stay in touch with each other while on the move.
On this map you will later see you and all the friends that are travelling with you.
The Invitations
Now make heavy use of the sharing button you find on the bottom left of the map. Invite all your friends over to this map.
As soon as they join the map, you all will see each other. Now it's time to travel together and meet at the festival!
Btw.: Joining the map is as easy as opening the link you sent them in their browser. There is no APP or login required.
Joining the map
Now it's time for your friends to become active.
They have just received the link you have sent them. All they need to do is to open it in their browsers.
From now on you are travelling as a group! ENJOY!
